Club Titles

Sighthound Breeders Club awards six prestigious titles that recognize beauty, performance and sporting results of sighthound breeds.

Title No. 1

Champion KCHCH

Prestigious title awarded based on a point system. To obtain the title, a minimum of must be collected 200 points. The title can only be obtained once in a dog's lifetime. The member must be in the club for the entire period of collecting points.

Mandatory conditions: Mandatory points from KCHCH club show + min. V4 recognition from international show. Adult classes only (open, intermediate, working, champion, winner). Other CAC shows: V1 = 4 points. Points deadline: December 31 of each year.

Title No. 2

Champion for Beauty and Performance

The title is awarded automatically to a dog that holds the Club Champion title and also the Racing or Coursing Champion title.

Conditions

  • Holder of title KCHCH Club Champion
  • Holder of title Racing Champion or Coursing Champion

Junior Category

  • Age: 12+ months (small Breeds), 15+ months (large breeds), max 24 months
  • Without racing license

Senior Category

  • Racing license required
  • Age: 6+ years, veteran class 8+ years

Retroactive applications are possible. Valid from 1 Jan 2026.

Title No. 3

Winner for Beauty and Performance — Racing

Combined title recognizing both exterior and sporting performance in track racing. Requires a valid racing license, participation in both show and race.

Members only. Age: 15 months (small Breeds) / 18 months (large breeds) up to max 6 years. Whippet a Italian Greyhound: poconditions adjusted by heightových/váhových categories. Koná se zpravidla jednou ročně.

Combined title recognizing conformation and sporting performance in coursing. Requires a valid coursing license, participation in a show and coursingu.

Title No. 5

Racing Champion

Title awarded for outstanding performances in track racing. Requires sustained sporting activity overof at least two seasons. The title can only be obtained once in a dog's lifetime. Coursing does not count.

Conditions

  • Minimum 15 successful races
  • Distributed over a minimum of 2 racing seasons

Title No. 6

Coursing Champion

Title awarded for outstanding performances in coursing. Requires sustained sporting activity over a minimumof two seasons. The title can only be obtained once in a dog's lifetime.

  • Minimum 15 clean coursing runs
  • Distributed over a minimum of 2 racing seasons
